Greetings, this page is dedicated to one of my all time favorite games.......SCRABBLE®.  The first thing you should do after purchasing the game, if you want to be a serious player, is to purchase a good SCRABBLE® reference book.  I recommend "The Official Scrabble Players Dictionary" 3rd Edition or, as it is also referred to, the OSPD.  There are many other good books out there but this one is the standard.  After purchasing your book you need to supplement it with word lists.  These can be downloaded from the internet quite easily.  Excellent resources for wordlists are SOWPODS and BIGDOGGY.  BIGDOGGY also provides a SCRABBLE® strategy reference.  John Chew has a site where you can download LeXpert, "a software program designed to assist word game enthusiasts in expanding their knowledge of words. It offers more than 3500 word lists and different ways of viewing these lists. Customized lists can be created based on patterns, cryptograms, anagrams, number of vowels, etc. This program is absolutely FREE!".  There are some other excellent SCRABBLE® sites which aren't listed here and come highly recommended.   I have created a seperate links page for those.  Please check them out.

Since creating this page I have recieved e-mails from people around the world with Scrabble related questions or just wanting to say hi and talk about Scrabble.
